Conditions 


There are some conditions for the size of Kimono and Wig.
Please make sure before booking.

・To use japanese traditional wigs, you need to keep your hair small.
・Guests with hair extensions, braided hair and dreadlocks may not be able to use the wig.






Reservations, Changes and Cancellations

Q；Do I need to make a reservation? How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?

A；Yes, you need reservation.
We accept reservations from 4 weeks in advance of your requested date.
Please check the studio schedule first, and follow the booking instruction.


Q； Do I make a reservation on the day.
A； We can not accept the reservation on the day.
You must make a reservation in advance.
For the security, you can't enter the building without reservation.

Q；Is it possible to change the plan I reserved to the another plan on the day ?
A；It’s depends, but we can’t accept Shironuri makeup on the day.
Makeup is outsorced, so you need to request it 2 days in advance.


Q；Do we need to pay in advance ?
A；Yes, the payment must be made in advance.

Q；Do you charge a cancellation fee?

A；Yes, we charge cancellation fees as follows:

　3 days prior: 100% of all charges
　7 days prior: 80% of all charges
　14 days prior: 50% of all charges
　30 days prior: JPY10,000

 In case of cancellation, the amount will be refunded after deducting the cancellation fee and comission

Q；Can we change the number of people who will take part on the day of the reservation?

A；Please let us know in advance if the number of people in your party increase or decrease.
This studio is located in the building of TAIYOKATSURA Co, Ltd.
The main clients are Japanese actors and actresses.
We may not be able to accommodate any changes on the day depend on the situation and also for the security.
 
 
 

What to Bring

Q；Should I bring anything for wearing with the kimono?
A；All things you need for the photo-shoot such as tabi(Japanese socks), undergarments, towels, makeup remover and other items prepared here.
If you want new tabi socks, we require you to purchase a pair of new ones for JPY300(tax included).  
Please bring your own cosmetics for your self-makeup after your photoshoot.

Q；Can I bring food and drinks?
A；Yes, you can eat or drink in the makeup room.
Please refrain from eating or drinking except in the makeup room.
There are many valuable Nihongami wigs and hair ornaments exhibited in the makeup room.
Do not touch the exhibits absolutely.
In the unlikely event that it becomes dirty or damaged, please be aware that you will be fully reimbursed
 
 

About Companions
 

Q；Is there a waiting room for companions ?
A；There is no waiting room for companions.
1 companion(over 6 years old) in 1 group can be accepted.
Please let us know in advance whether you have a companion or not.
He/She can enter the shooting area when you have a photo session.

 
Q；Can my companion enter the shooting area with me and observe my photo session?

A；Yes, 1 companion(over 6 years old) in 1 group can observe your photo session.
Child under 6 years old can’t enter the shooting area, but we will consider when parents join the photoshoot.
More than 2 companions, or a companion under 6 years old, order the monitor room(JPY5,000) as the option.
Please make sure that small children are accompanied by a guardian at all times.

 

Q；All my party want to observe my photo-session together ?

A；When more than two companions wish to observe your photo-session, order the monitor room.
Your companions can enjoy the photo-session in the monitor room next to the shooting room.
Finally we will take group photos for all visitors together and give you a group photo print as the present.
We recommend that you order the monitor room if you come with children.
In addition, if the total fee is JPY60,000 or more, can use the monitor rooms for free, so please let us know in advance.
 
 

About photo-session
 

Q；In what way will I receive the photos?

A；You will receive 2L size photo prints (12.7cm ×17.8cm) with the paper album when you check out.
 

Q；Can I buy data(CD-R) of my photo shoot?

A；We give you CD-R burned all digital data during your photo-session as the present but except Kimono Experience.
Since data is not included Kimono Experience, you need to purchase data if you want.
1 data; JPY1,100, all data; JPY3,300

 

Q；Can I take pictures or movie with my own camera?

A；You have a free time for 5 minutes after your photo-session and enjoy self -photo or video shoot with your companion.
 

Q；Can I take pictures or movie while I’m getting my makeup done or the kimono fitting?

A；Photos and movie shooting by customers and companions during preraration are strictly prohibited.
If you want movie or photo taking during makeup, you need to pay JPY2,000(cash only) to the makeup artist.
Please order when you book.
 

Q；Can I have a couple or group photos?　Can I have photo taken with a companion?

A；Please order group photo taken (JPY2,200) or photo taken with your companion(JPY2,200/person)as the option.
Photo print is not included in both options.

 

 

About Payment, Others,

 

Q；When should I pay?

A；You will pay at the time of booking.
Please pay at check-out for those added on the day.

We accept Japanese-yen cash, and VISA or Master Card for the payment

Q；Do you have parking available? If not, is there a parking lot nearby?
A；We have no parking, but there are many coin parking lots nearby.
 

Q；Can you arrange for a taxi when I’m ready to leave?

A；Please arrange a taxi yourself.
Also, you can catch a taxi very easily at the big street nearby.
